From May 1 to 3, 2026, we were once again part of the Medieval Market at Hohnsensee—and what a weekend it was! Under brilliant sunshine, we presented our camp and offered visitors a colorful program of craftsmanship, action, and hands-on activities.

New from the Forge and Traditional Craftsmanship
This year, we put our brand-new forge into operation and carried out small projects for our camp right on-site. Our artisans showcased their skills, captivating visitors with traditional techniques. The younger guests had plenty to do: they could craft knotted stars, carve soapstone, and participate in Helmi’s scavenger hunt—we took over the final station again this year!

Combat Demonstrations and a Special Highlight
Our liege lord was, of course, right in the thick of the combat demonstrations. But the absolute highlight this year was the interactive tournament, where participants could playfully “tap each other on the pouch”—a fun activity for all ages!

Internal Archery Tournament 2026

Excitement, Success, and Historical Insights
On April 18, 2026, our traditional Internal Archery Tournament took place—a day filled with excitement, precision, and camaraderie!

The Tournament: KO System and Thrilling Duels
Our companion Benni once again led the tournament using the tried-and-true KO system. In a gripping final, he emerged victorious against Peter and Andreas, securing his well-deserved win. But the next generation also showcased their skills: Our young archer Iliana claimed the golden winner’s arrow in the youth category, finishing ahead of Simon.

Celebration and Learning: Grilling and a Historical Lecture
After the competitions, the community wrapped up the day with a joint barbecue. Strengthened and in good spirits, Benni delivered a fascinating lecture on the history and different types of arrowheads, complete with visual aids that brought the diversity and craftsmanship of past eras to life.

A Day of Joy and Community
On April 4, 2026, we celebrated an unforgettable Ēostre Festival together—a day that reminded us once again how wonderful it is to come together as a community.

A Festival of Tradition and Fun
While our dear companion Simone prepared the ceremonial rites, our youngest members set off on an exciting treasure hunt across the grounds of Beusterhütte, eagerly searching for sweet surprises. Their joy at every discovery was infectious!
Meanwhile, our fighters took the opportunity to train, ensuring that even on festive days, preparation for upcoming tournaments never takes a backseat.

Celebrating and Feasting Together
After the beautiful ceremony, we let the day wind down in a cozy atmosphere. A potluck buffet filled with delicious food and drinks invited everyone to celebrate together. Over good meals and lively conversations, we enjoyed each other’s company and strengthened the bonds of our association.
